Escape World Privacy Policy
Escape World values your privacy greatly. Therefore, we only process data that we need for (improving) our services and handle the information collected about you and your use of our services with care. We never provide your data for commercial purposes to third parties. This privacy policy applies to the use of the Escape World website and the services offered through it. The effective date of these terms is 22/05/2018, and publishing a new version supersedes all previous versions. EMAIL AND MAILING LISTS
SENDINBLUE
We send our email newsletters using SendinBlue. At the bottom of every email sent automatically through our website, you will find the ‘unsubscribe’ link. You will no longer receive our newsletter by clicking this link. Your personal data is securely stored by SendinBlue. SendinBlue uses cookies and other internet technologies to determine whether emails are opened and read and which pages you visited. SendinBlue reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and share information with third parties as part of that effort.
GMAIL AND OFFICE365
We use Gmail and Office365 for our regular business email communications. Gmail and Office365 do not have access to our mailbox, and we treat all our email communications confidentially.
PAYMENT PROCESSORS
We use Izettle, Paypal.nl, and Mollie (hereinafter: Payment processors) for handling (part of) the payments. They process your name, address, place of residence, and your payment details, such as your bank account or credit card number. They reserve the right to use your data to improve their services further and share (anonymized) data with third parties. In the case of a request for deferred payment (credit facility), they may share personal data and order data with deferred payment service providers.
REVIEWS
We collect reviews via the following platforms: TripAdvisor, Google, Escape take, Escape Room Nederland, Escape Talk, Bookeo, 1001Concepten. If you leave a review on any of these platforms, you are required to provide your name, place of residence, and email address. These platforms may share this data with us. These platforms reserve the right to engage third parties for the purpose of providing services.
ACCOUNTING SOFTWARE
We use accounting software for our administration and bookkeeping. We share your name, address, and place of residence, as well as details related to your order, by keeping sales invoices in this software. This data is used for the administration of sales invoices.

We use your data solely for the purpose of providing our services. This means that the purpose of processing is always directly related to the assignment you provide. Your data will not be shared with third parties, except to meet accounting and other administrative obligations.

Data automatically collected by our website is processed for the purpose of further improving our services. This data (such as your IP address, web browser, and operating system) is not personal data. Cooperation in fiscal and criminal investigations In some cases, Escape World may be required by law to share your data in connection with fiscal or criminal investigations by government authorities. In such cases, we are obligated to share your data.
RETENTION PERIODS
We retain your data as long as you are a client of ours. This means that we keep your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you inform us of this, we will also consider it a request to be forgotten. We are required to retain invoices with your (personal) data for the applicable administrative obligations, so we will keep this data for as long as the relevant term runs.

In certain cases, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by or on behalf of Escape World. If you object, we will immediately cease data processing pending resolution of your objection. Cookies from the American company Google are placed via our website as part of the “Analytics” service. We use this service to track and receive reports on how visitors use the website. This processor may be required, under applicable laws and regulations, to provide access to this data. We collect information about your browsing behavior and share this data with Google. Google may interpret this information in conjunction with other datasets to track your movements on the internet. Google uses this information to offer targeted advertisements (Adwords) and other Google services and products.
